Our Pre-Prep is open to girls aged 3 to 6 and includes four year groups.
At this early stage, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum for England, designed to nurture each child’s natural curiosity and love for learning.
The curriculum is also built around seven key areas, all closely connected and equally important.
We also nurture motor and sensory skills, helping girls explore through movement and play. Every girl is supported by caring, qualified adults who observe her progress, celebrate her strengths and guide her next steps with kindness and care.
Our curriculum is informed by the English National Curriculum but shaped by us.
At this stage, girls are introduced to more formal elements of learning, building on the skills and knowledge learned in the Early Years.
We use a thematic and interdisciplinary approach, meaning subjects are often linked through projects and real-world topics that spark imagination and make learning meaningful.
At Bedford School Mohali, a girl's physical, emotional and social wellbeing is at the centre of everything we do. We understand that when she feels safe, supported and confident, she can thrive—both in the classroom and beyond.
Girls are encouraged to explore life beyond the classroom. Through a wide range of activities, they discover new interests, build confidence and develop the skills they need for a balanced, healthy and happy life.
