The Role

The Special Educator will provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they canfully access and thrive within the school’s academic and co-curricular programmes. The role requires expertise in inclusive education, development of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), and close collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff.

Student Support

• Identify and assess students with Special Educational Needs(SEN).
• Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide one-to-one and small group interventions.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Teacher and Parent Collaboration

• Advise and support teachers in adapting curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Conduct training for staff on inclusive practices and differentiation.
• Communicate regularly with parents on student progress and needs.

Safeguarding and Compliance

• Ensure SEN provision meets school policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports on SEN students.

Qualifications
